Um dos valores do Partido Novo é a responsabilidade com o dinheiro público. Quando vamos gastar o dinheiro suado dos impostos dos cidadãos, pensamos: isso é bom para o Brasil? Por isso, desde o começo do mandato, tenho me guiado pela austeridade nos gastos. Economizei 63% da verba de gabinete e 85% da cota parlamentar. O que deu, em 24 meses, uma economia de R$ 3.557.783,66! (dados consolidados até 30/01/2021)
Por isso, no segundo semestre de 2020, tomei a decisão de fechar as portas do gabinete que alugava para a minha base, em São Paulo, onde recebia os cidadãos e fazia reuniões às segundas e às sextas-feiras. Com a pandemia, as reuniões presenciais têm sido substituídas pelas virtuais e não vi sentido em manter o gabinete que tem, além do aluguel, custos de energia elétrica, condomínio, internet.
Porém, para não deixar de continuar recebendo os cidadãos e continuar oferecendo um lugar de acolhimento sem que seja necessário um vôo para Brasília, estou disponibilizando graciosamente uma sala de um espaço que sou proprietária, na Zona Oeste. Evidentemente, não pedirei reembolso de nenhum gasto – nem luz, nem água, nem gás, nem IPTU, muito menos cobrarei aluguel.
Quando a quarentena acabar e o gabinete voltar a bombar, comunico a vocês os passos seguintes.
